Crafted entirely from Oystersteel—Rolex’s proprietary corrosion-resistant stainless steel—the M126500LN embodies the spirit of high-performance racing, precision engineering, and timeless style. This reference is a direct successor to the beloved 116500LN, now upgraded with the innovative Caliber 4131 movement and subtle case refinements that elevate its wearability and technical appeal.

With a case size of 40mm, the M126500LN maintains the classic Daytona proportions while delivering a more refined, modern profile thanks to updated lugs and case architecture. It features a monobloc Cerachrom bezel in high-gloss black ceramic with an engraved tachymeter scale—designed to measure average speeds of up to 400 units per hour. The bezel is virtually scratch-proof, fade-resistant, and visually stunning, offering a dynamic contrast against the polished steel case.

Available in both white “Panda” dial and black dial versions, the M126500LN retains the signature Daytona look with its three sub-dial chronograph layout at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. These sub-dials are ringed in black or silver, depending on the dial configuration, and feature a sunburst finish for added texture and visual appeal. Hands and hour markers are crafted in 18ct white gold and filled with Chromalight, Rolex’s proprietary blue-glowing luminescent material, ensuring readability in all lighting conditions.

One of the biggest internal changes lies in the watch’s movement: the all-new Rolex Caliber 4131. This state-of-the-art self-winding chronograph movement features a Chronergy escapement, Paraflex shock absorbers, and an openwork rotor visible through the partially transparent case back—a first for stainless steel Daytona models. The watch is paired with the classic Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel, which features the robust Oysterlock safety clasp and the Easylink comfort extension link, allowing the wearer to increase the bracelet length by approximately 5mm without tools. The bracelet design has been slightly refined for better ergonomics and wearability.
